With warm and sunny weather here, breathable clothing that keeps you cool is a necessity. Finding the right trousers can be prove a tricky task, but Next shoppers might have found a pair that ticks all the boxes – hailing the trousers as ‘comfortable’ and ‘lightweight’.

The Wide Leg Textured Co-ord Trousers with Linen come in at at a reasonable £26 and are available in four colourways. They’re available in neutral, black, bright pink and khaki, although sizes are extremely limited.

The trousers feature a trendy wide leg design with side pockets and an elasticated waist for extra comfort. They also have a ‘looser fit than normal’, which is perfect for hotter days here in the UK or slightly further afield.

The wide leg linen trousers have racked up a number of glowing reviews, as the Liverpool Echo reports. One shopper said: “Really flattering style, very comfortable .Went for long size as regular was too short, although I normally buy a regular length.”

A second review read: “I would recommend. I find them very comfortable. I’m not a big fan of elasticated waists, but these are ok. I’m 5’2″ and the petite length is just right.”

A third shopper said: “Lovely lightweight trousers great for the warmer weather and they don’t crease if you are taking away with you. Fit well, true to size. Nice crinkle material.”

A fourth glowing review read: “Very comfortable and good fit, very pleased with purchase.”

However, it’s important to note that these trousers are described as ‘looser fitting than usual’ with some shoppers saying the trousers are ‘on the bigger size’.

Alternatively, Marks and Spencer is selling these Linen Blend Wide Leg Trousers in white, as well as seven other colourways, for £27.50. At White Stuff, the Linen Blend Elle Trouser are slightly more expensive, coming in at £65.
