The suspect is in custody for questioning
A man has been arrested after a number of shed burglaries and attempted thefts in Bolton. Police were called to reports of multiple incidents across the Highfield and New Bury areas of Farnworth on Sunday morning (April 20).
The calls were made between 4am and 8am. A suspect has been identified by police and is currently in custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for the GMP division in Bolton said: “Between 4am and 8am this morning there have been numerous reports of shed burglaries and attempted thefts across the Highfield and New Bury areas of Farnworth.
“Following extensive enquiries by PC Scott, the male has subsequently been identified by the South Neighbourhood Team. The male, aged 48, remains in custody for questioning.”
