Now that spring is here, many Brits will be thinking about ways to refresh to their bedrooms while remaining on a budget. An easy way to change the vibe of your sleep space without having to invest much money or time into redecorating is through switching out your bed sheets – and there’s a set at Dunelm that shoppers are snapping.

The high street retailer’s Billie Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set is proving popular online and it’s not hard to see why. It features an ‘expensive’-looking’ textured design in a range of colours including ochre, natural, sage, blue, black, emerald, grey and white.

The duvet set in ochre and natural have been slashed in price, bringing the single down to £22.40 and the double £29. The king size now costs £32.20 and the super king size has been reduced to £36.40 instead of of £52.

The single set comes with one pillow case, while the three larger sizes come with two. The duvet set is machine washable and non-iron which shoppers have particularly appreciated in the reviews section, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The Billie Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set has been rated 4.7 out of five stars, stacking up a massive 1,799 reviews. One shopper said: “Pretty duvet cover and the embroidered top is great. It gives it a classy look. Very happy as no ironing needed.”

A second reviewer wrote: “Beautiful quilt cover bought the crisp white, totally recommend excellent quality and lovely design. Super price. Looks more expensive.”

Gill said “Gorgeous set. It’s a lovely set which looks much more expensive than it actually is. Washed really well too and didn’t need to be ironed after a tumble dry. Highly recommend.”

A fourth shopper added: “Luxurious duvet cover. What a gorgeous duvet cover. Colour is a lovely shade of blue and it’s so soft and luxurious. It’s a treat getting into bed. Washes well, doesn’t need ironing which is always a bonus. Will be getting more colours of the duvet cover.”

However, some shoppers have pointed out that this particular duvet set might be too thick for the warm summer months. One review reads: “Way too thick and heavy for me. Sure some people would like that though. I’d return if I could but can’t. It is soft though at least.”

Elsewhere, Next has the Yard Natural Hebden Striped 100% Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set which comes in several different muted colours, priced at £26 to £50. At Debenhams, the 800 Thread Count Bed Linen has been slashed by 76%, now costing between £48.75 and £93.75, depending on the size.
