Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has had to leave paradise as his dream trip with his daughter came to an end. The actor ditched the UK with Sienna a couple of weeks ago.

The actor, famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, first took to social media towards the end of last month and seemingly hinted that he and Sienna, who he shares with ex and former Corrie co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson, were heading on their own big trip.

Sharing a smiling picture of them both as they sat in the car and put their hands into peace signs for the camera, Alan said: “Next Dad & daughter adventure pending [peace sign emoji]. Let’s go princess!”

Former Corrie co-star Brooke Vincent was quick to respond, hinting Alan hadn’t been quiet about what they were going to be up to as she commented on the post: “You’ve not mentioned it [crying laughing emoji].” Alan then replied with a crying laughing emoji.

It was then right at the end of March that Alan confirmed their break was going ahead and alongside a picture of their passports and plane tickets, he wrote on his Instagram Story: “Dad & daughter adventure pending…” He then shared a photo of Sienna looking out to the planes, with one from ‘Singapore Airlines’.

The soap star shared another update from the sky as he opened his window blind on the plane and said: “Woke up in Singapore.” But that wasn’t his final destination as he later shared a video from an idyllic beach which he tagged as being in Thailand and later revealed he and Sienna were attending a wedding.

As well as the special occasion itself, the father and daughter have been having plenty of fun, with Alan sharing a number of updates online – from meeting the local elephants to spending time of the beach and hitting the sea on a jet ski.

In one post from the wedding, in which Alan and Sienna matched in beautiful blue outfits, the soap star said: “Thailand !! Wow, The most amazing setting for the beautiful wedding of @chrislynch28 @kyliemorrison651!! Sienna & I had the best day & night celebrating with you.”

Alongside another beaming snap of them posing on the golden sandy beach, Alan told his followers: “My best smile is when I’m next to my Daughter [red heart emoji]. Maya Bay [island emoji].”

But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and on Tuesday (April 15), Alan took to his Instagram Story and posted a picture of the beach alongside the message: “And that is us out of here.”

It comes after Alan’s former wife Lucy-Jo opened up about missing Sieanna. Sharing pictures on Instgram of herself and her son, Carter, as they spent the first week of the Easter holidays together, the Hollyoaks star said on Instagram: “Well these past couple of weeks have pretty much been me and my little shadow.

“There’s been a little bit of work, a lot of coffee, swimming, play dates, panto trips, a west end trip, gym sessions, more coffee, and lots and lots of cuddles.

“It’s been a real rollercoaster of emotions since Sienna went on holiday…. I couldn’t shift an emptiness for the first few days, and then I gave myself a slap and focussed on making memories with Carter, and keeping us both busy over the Easter half term.

“Which we have…. And we’ve loved it, but we’re all ready for Sienna to come home now… 4 more days then we can give her the biggest squeeze ever. I know she’s had the best time and made memories that will last a lifetime, she’s text me most days and told me all what she’s been up to and I’m so happy she’s had the best holiday…..

“But now I need her home.” She added: “Anyway, I won’t go on anymore…. I hope you all enjoy what seems the last of the sunshine for a little while.”
