Here’s what you need to know:
Manchester United’s Europa League clash against Lyon is live on TNT Sports
Manchester United welcome Lyon to Old Trafford on Thursday evening as they bid to reach the semi-finals of the Europa League.
In truth, United’s domestic season has been over for a while now and the success of Ruben Amorim’s first campaign in charge now lives or dies by their progress in the Europa League.
With United 14th in the Premier League and having exited both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, the Europa League offers them the chance to end one of the most difficult seasons in their modern history with some silverware.
Not only that, but the prize for winning the Europa League is a place in next season’s Champions League and the riches that will bring.
The next stop on their pursuit of Europa League success comes on Thursday when the French side make the trip to Old Trafford.
The first leg ended in a 2-2 draw at the Groupama Stadium so it is all to play for as we head into the second leg. And if you haven’t got a ticket for the game you can watch the game live on TNT Sports.
TNT Sports costs £30.99 on a rolling monthly basis via Discovery+ Premium and also includes coverage of the Champions League and Europa Conference League, and selected Premier League matches.
