Celebrity Big Brother fans seemingly want answers as they were left baffled as to why Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd is facing evicition for the second time.

The actor recently marked 25 years on the cobbles in the role of Weatherfield favourite David Platt. But entering the CBB house is the first time Jack has taken a punt on reality TV.

But while Jack appears happy to be in the CBB house, his time on the show has already been a rollercoaster as he was among the first of the new housemates to find them up for the axe in the first public vote last week.

Jack was given eight nominations while former Tory MP Sir Michael Fabricant received seven and Mickey Rourke was given the killer nomination from pop singer and former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa which automatically put him up for eviction.

The news of Jack being up for the first eviction came as a surprise to many and his Corrie co-stars were quick to rally for votes to keep him in.

It clearly worked as he survived the first eviction, with Michael receiving the least number of votes from the public before Mickey was removed from the house for ‘unacceptable behaviour’ just a day later.

But during Monday night’s (April 14) episode of CBB, it was time for the second round of nominations and Jack found himself in the firing line once again.

EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer received the most nominations from her Big Brother housemates and will be up for eviction alongside fellow soap star Jack and TV presenter Trisha Goddard.

The nominations come ahead of Tuesday night’s (April 15) live evictions where the public will vote on a housemate to eject from the Big Brother House.

One of the housemates that put Patsy up for eviction was Dance Moms star Jojo Siwa. Jojo said: “Patsy has been an asset to the house. She’s been cooking, she’s been beautiful, she’s been amazing.

“But I have seen a side of Patsy that has been a bit, I like to call it finger pointy. I think team players are what we need in the house, and I think Patsy hasn’t really shown that in the last few days.”

Trisha and Jack both received four nominations each, with Trisha being nominated Chesney Hawkes, Chris Hughes, Ella Rae Wise and Patsy while Jack was selected by Angellica Bell, Danny Beard, Donna Preston and Trisha.

But it was Jack’s nominations that confused some as they believe they haven’t seen him do anything that would warrant wanting to be kicked out by his fellow housemates.
