Millie Radford faced a travel “disaster” after herself and two of her children were stranded at the airport due to them being “rejected” from entering America.

The family, who are best known for starring in their own Channel 5 series, 22 Kids and Counting, as well as daily vlogging on YouTube, were preparing to jet off to America to spend their Easter holidays over in the USA.

As the family arrived at London’s Gatwick airport, however, 23-year-old Millie and two of her children – Chester and Ophelia – were denied entry to the plane as the rest of the family, including Millie’s husband Harley and other daughter Elodie, boarded their flight.

The reasoning behind the rejection to board was down to her and the children’s ESTAs being out of date – the travel authorisation used for those travelling to America without a Visa.

Taking to her Instagram to document the ordeal, Millie wrote: “So glad he doesn’t understand this disaster we are having [crying face emojis]” as she showed a clip of her son lay on the airport floor.

She later updated her followers as she added: “Guys let this be your reminder to double check your ESTA [melting face emoji] because mine, Chester and Ophelia’s had run out.

“We was rejected being allowed on our flight today to America, and Harley and Elodie was able to get onto the flight.

“Lucky we have reapplied and they have all come in time for us to fly tomorrow [fingers crossed emoji].

“My dad has stayed to help me.

“Thank God because we’ve had to travel hours to another airport from Gatwick.”

While they waited to be reunited with the rest of the family, Sue Radford shared an update on their end as she posted a snap of herself and Elodie with the caption: “I’m fine mummy don’t worry and I was such a [good] girl on the flight.”

This comes just weeks after Millie’s husband Harley was admitted to the hospital days before they were set to celebrate Sue Radford’s 50th birthday, after a suspected stroke.

Fortunately, it was later revealed that he hadn’t suffered from a mini-stroke after several tests and scans all came back clear.
