The most expensive streets to live on in Greater Manchester have been revealed. These affluent, tree-lined roads are home to some of the priciest properties you can buy across the region, boasting multi-million pound price tags.
these streets are commonly known as ‘millionaires rows’, and it is no surprise that they are where some of region’s richest residents reside, from footballers and celebrities to entrepreneurs.
Using the latest data from Land Registry, a tool by Property Solvers has found which streets have the highest average house prices across the region.
Each of the eight most expensive streets are all in Trafford, which is known as Greater Manchester’s most expensive borough to live in.
Most of the properties are located in the desirable village of Hale, which had an overall average house price of £684,930 over the last year.
Below are Greater Manchester’s eight most expensive streets, where homes for sale currently range from £3.2 to £8.5 million.
Stanhope Road, Bowdon
Stanhope Road in Bowdon is the priciest street to buy a home in Greater Manchester at the moment, where the average home costs £3,075,000.
A modern detached property which spans seven bedrooms and has an infinity pool and supercar turntable is currently on the market at £4.9 million.
Broadway, Hale
Broadway in Hale is currently the region’s second most expensive street to live on, with an average house price of £3,025,000.
There is a detached property on the market at the moment, which boasts seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and is up for sale at £8.5 million.
Barrow Lane, Hale
With an average house price of £2,896,666, Barrow Lane in Hale is the third most expensive street to live on.
This six-bed detached house, which has six bathrooms and four reception rooms, is currently up for grabs at £5.9 million.
Bankhall Lane, Hale
Another street where you are likely to find multi-million pound properties is Bankhall Lane in Hale, which has an average house price of £2,865,000.
This five-bed house is on the market for £3.2 million and boasts five bathrooms and three reception rooms.
Planetree Road, Hale
With an average house price of £2,001,666, Planetree Road is amongst the top five most expensive streets to live on in Greater Manchester.
There is currently a detached house up for sale at £1.8 million, which has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and five reception rooms.
Hill Top, Hale
Hill Top in Hale is another desirable address in Greater Manchester, where you are likely to find large, gated mansions.
A six-bed detached property is on the market at the moment for £1.9 million which has a large garden spanning almost an acre.
Bollinway, Hale
Bollinway in Hale is also amongst the region’s priciest streets to live on, with an average house price of £1,913,333.
This detached house is currently up for sale at £2 million and has six bedrooms, four bathrooms and four reception rooms.
Carrwood, Hale Barns
Carrwood in Hale Barns is another expensive road to live on, where houses are priced at an average of £1,812,500.
This six bed detached house, with six bathrooms and three reception rooms, is currently up for grabs at £3.2 million.
