A few thoughts:

— Obligatory Price Comparison No. 1: An unslabbed, midgrade copy of an original Fantastic Four #7 recently sold on eBay for about $410.

— Obligatory Price Comparison No. 2: A nice, unslabbed copy of an original FF #50 went for $565.

— Obligatory Price Comparison No. 3: An, unslabbed midgrade copy of an original X-Men #137 went for $126. This is, however, the third time the issue has been released as a Facsimile. Versions from 2019 and 2023 will run you between $6 and $15.
