Two people have been stabbed and a third injured after a fight broke out outside a Greater Manchester pub.

Officers were called out to Wrigley Head, in Failsworth, following a fight outside the Anglers Arms pub late on Sunday night (April 6).

Greater Manchester Police says two victims were stabbed by an offender who initially fled the scene.

They were both treated for injuries which are not believed to be either life-threatening or life-changing.

A third victim also suffered a head injury after an object was thrown at them, GMP says.

Officers later arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of a class A drug in connection with the incident.
