A new playmate is entering the viral children’s animation IP sandbox, as the musical series DoReMi Dalimi has surged past 5 million YouTube subscribers and racked up more than 2.5 billion views from six different language channels. After two successful seasons, the digital series has enjoyed a marked boost in viewership since last year.

Developed by Sunwoo & Company, DoReMi Dalimi is described as a heartwarming animated musical series following the daily adventures of a curious five-year-old girl named Dalimi, her sister Dalkong, and a warm ensemble of family and friends. Blending  story, songs and music, the series delivers emotionally engaging narratives that resonate with audiences around the world.

With 95% of its total views coming from outside Korea, DoReMi Dalimi continues to expand worldwide. This growth is particularly notable in regions like Latin America and Southeast Asia, where Neutral Spanish and Bahasa Indonesia channels have drawn millions of viewers. The Spanish-language channel alone boasts over 1.48 million subscribers.

The brand’s multilingual expansion strategy and strong performance on YouTube have helped transition it beyond digital platforms. With content now available through over 100 broadcasters and streaming services, DoReMi Dalimi continues to gain traction not only in international licensing and distribution, but also into live musical performances and consumer products as well. With over 50+ SKU toys, 20+ SKU license products, e-books, stage musicals and music streaming services in the market, the series has built up a 360-degree franchise rooted in emotional storytelling and audiovisual immersion.

“YouTube has eliminated traditional barriers in content distribution, allowing DoReMi Dalimi to thrive as a global brand. The amount of attention we’re receiving is just phenomenal — last January, we had a record high of over 40 million views per day.” said Moonju Kang, CEO of Sunwoo & Company. “And over the past year, we’ve observed remarkable growth particularly in U.S., Latin America and Southeast Asia region, proving the series’ universal appeal.”

With its growing momentum, Sunwoo is actively developing new partnerships to further expand DoReMi Dalimi across streaming, consumer products and branded experiences, reinforcing its position in global children’s entertainment. The company believes the franchise’s new English-language YouTube channel will serve as a catalyst for significantly boosting global visibility and attract a wider international audience.

With a legacy spanning over 50 years, Sunwoo has solidified its presence in the animation and entertainment industry, focusing on animation production, media distribution and brand licensing. The company has developed internationally recognized IPs, including the Netflix Original Series Treehouse Detectives, and the world first “real dino” boys’ action show Supertrons, co-produced with Tencent. The company is dedicated to strengthening its global reach to help meet the growing demand for high-quality kids’ IP.
