The exhibition series, curated by Neville Tuli for the Tuli Research Centre for India Studies (T.R.I.S.), offers a compelling exploration of Mahatma Gandhi’s enduring legacy. Through a striking visual-textual knowledge base featuring modern and contemporary art, rare artefacts, film memorabilia, photographs, political ephemera and more, the exhibition examines the interplay between India’s freedom struggle and Gandhiji’s personal pursuit of satya (truth) through ahimsa (non violence). Accompanied by four in-depth conversations between Neville Tuli and eminent thinkers Rajit Kapur, Prof. Bindu Puri, Prof. Vidhu Verma, and Prof. Kirti Trivedi, the showcase is a rich intellectual and emotional journey. Special student tours by appointment provide younger audiences an opportunity to engage meaningfully with Gandhiji’s ideals.
