An urgent search has been launched to find a missing 24-year-old man who was last seen near a tram stop in Greater Manchester.

David Nwakakwa was last seen near to the Brookland Metrolink station in Sale, Trafford, at around 7.45pm on Wednesday (April 23).

He is described as a mixed race man, 6ft 1ins tall, of a chubby build and with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a white and dark blue gradient t-shirt, black shorts with a red side stripe, red flip flops and black socks.

A CCTV image of David was shared as part of the appeal issued by Greater Manchester Police. Anyone with information is urged to contact the force immediately.

A post shared by GMP said: “Have you seen David, 24, from Trafford? David was last seen at around 7.45pm near Brookland Metrolink station, Sale.

“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about him and want to make sure he is safe and well. If you see David, call us on 101 quoting log 3204-23/04/25.”
