Lee Jin Ho’s latest video about Kim Sae Ron featured a phone call recording from the time when she was mentally exhausted. According to All Kpop, the YouTuber started by dividing the actress’ life into two parts. “From the age of two, she worked tirelessly in the entertainment industry. But after the DUI incident, her life spiralled downward, forcing her to take part-time jobs within a year,” he explained.

The YouTuber shared that Sae Ron was struggling with the burden of being the family’s breadwinner amid the financial difficulties. During the tough situation, she got married to an American man. Lee said, “Her close acquaintances didn’t have a good impression of her American husband, nor did they trust him. But Kim Sae Ron hoped to escape the harsh realities of her life in Korae and make a fresh start in the US.” He further revealed that the actress was receiving psychiatric treatment and had attempted to hurt herself many times. She has been rushed to the emergency section more than 20 times.
Lee then played a call recording between Kim Sae Ron and her close acquaintance before her passing, where she sounded extremely upset. She could be heard telling, “Nothing happened, really. But my boyfriend showed me YouTube videos of Shamans doing readings on me. They all said Im evil, that I should already be dead and my time has stopped. Recently, Kim Soo Hyun filed a KRW 12 billion (approximately USD 8.4 Million) lawsuit against Kim Sae Ron’s family and Garosero Research Institute regarding allegations made about him dating the late actress when she was a minor. After this, it was alleged that the Queen of Tears actor’s team failed to pay the necessary legal fee for the complaint due to financial strains.
