Celebrity Big Brother’s Jack P Shepherd has been given a major boost as the popular ITV reality series nears its end.

Coronation Street star Jack endured a rocky start to life in the Big Brother house, finding himself up for the first two evictions.

With fans voting to save him twice, the David Platt actor has gone to win over his fellow housemates with his unique sense of humour.

Known for his dry jokes, viewers have loved seeing Jack playfully wind-up those around him and his obsession with tea.

Appearing to be having a ball on the programme, Jack might just be crowed the Celebrity Big Brother winner on Friday night (April 25).

According to bookmaker Grosvenor Sport, Jack’s odds of 13/8 to win the series is better than any of his other housemates.

Hot on Jack’s heels in the betting odds is drag queen Danny Beard, who is priced at 11/4 to follow in David Potts footsteps and win the show.

The other frontrunner is currently US pop star JoJo Siwa, who has become an unlikely fan favourite thanks to her friendship with Chris Hughes.

Comedian Donna Preston is an outsider at 6/1, with Chris Hughes having to survive tonight’s triple eviction to make his 16/1 odds a reality.

Former Love Island star Chris is up against Danny, EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, presenter Angellica Bell and TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise in Tuesday’s live eviction.

Chris’ three competitors are priced at 20/1, 50/1 and 50/1 respectively to pull off an unlikely upset and go on to win the series.

Grosvenor Sport spokesperson Simon Kew said of the odds: “Jack P. Shepherd has leapfrogged into the lead as the new 13/8 favourite. From an outsider at 20/1 just a week ago to topping the market, Jack’s now got the backing of both punters and Corrie fans. His ability to survive two evictions and his growing popularity suggests real momentum behind him now.”

“Danny Beard, who previously held the top spot, is now a close second at 7/4. Danny’s charisma, wit and authenticity continue to resonate strongly with the audience, and although he’s just been edged out by Jack, he remains a strong contender.

“JoJo Siwa has slipped slightly in the rankings to 11/4, now third favourite. Despite the dip, she’s still very much in the race. Her energetic personality and blossoming friendship with Chris Hughes have kept her in the spotlight – though some housemates have begun questioning whether it’s genuine or strategic.”

He added: “Chesney Hawkes and Patsy Palmer are both holding at 20/1. Chesney remains steady, while Patsy’s odds reflect her continued lack of positivity in the house. Although she’s survived a couple of evictions, her luck might run out tonight.”

“At the bottom of the market, Angellica Bell and Ella Rae Wise remain the longshots at 50/1 apiece. Angellica started strong at 14/1 but has struggled to stand out in recent episodes.

“Ella Rae, once a 13/2 hopeful, has seen her support collapse after failing to connect with viewers and drawing criticism for remarks aimed at JoJo and Chris. Both are up for eviction tonight – could one of them defy the odds?”
