Blondie and Dagwood and …
Blame Blondie by Dean Young and John Marshall (actually Elmo) for this post’s title.

So is John Zakour and Scott Roberts’ Working Daze situated in the city where Dagwood works?

Lou from Dagwood’s favorite diner showed up in the Working Daze panel today.
One more Blondie as part of today’s synchronicity with Samson’s Dark Side of the Horse.

A while back one of my grandson’s came over and, of course, we hugged. He was the best smelling grandson ever having splashed on some cologne containing vanilla. If I ever remember to check for it when I’m in the store I will buy it. Good bye Old Spice.
Arrgh!

My reaction to the April 15 “Arghyle” Sweater was that Scott Hilburn should use that exclamation more often in his panel. It just seems fitting.
Today Basic Instructions by Scott Meyer took me back to my childhood.

The Funny(?) Pages
Mike P. talked a bit of newspapers today: “the double factor of the decline of print and the growth of on-line reporting.” But he didn’t use last week’s Shoe by Susie MacNelly and Ben Lansing which noted a lack of readers in the medium that pays the cartoonists that carry the strip.

Since we heralded Luca Debus‘ comic strip Wannabe debuting on GoComics a year and some months ago, we may as well note that sometime recently (not sure exactly when) the strip was dropped from GoComics roster.
However Luca informs us:

NOTICE!
Wannabe will no longer be hosted on GoComics. …but don’t worry! Wannabe is not over. We’re just getting started!
You can keep reading Wannabe on all my socials and on Webtoon.
Greg and Karen Evans had the Comic Panel of the Week using Dez to illustrate Life, the Universe and Everything.
