Zara McDermott has shared an emotional tribute to her parents as they reached a major milestone amid rumours of her own new romance.

Those who follow the latest showbiz gossip may be aware that Zara split from ex-boyfriend Sam Thompson at the end of last year following five years together.

While neither has said too much about the end of their relationship, they have been seen ploughing on as normal with both their professional and personal lives, sharing some insights on social media.

It was then in early March that fans spotted One Direction star Louis Tomlinson liking the documentary maker’s social media posts. Later the same month, Zara hit the headlines as it was reported that she is dating singer Louis.

According to the Mirror, the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant and the singer have been spotted looking loved-up on a cosy date. Just this week, the first pictures of the pair together emerged, with Zara and Louis seen on a stroll in Malibu.

They were spotted holding hands on their way to a lunch date at Soho Beach House on Tuesday (April 15). Louis divides his time between the UK and the States – where his son Freddy resides – while Zara appears to be on a trip having beem hanging out around Los Angeles.

While her romance may be hitting the headlines, Zara took to social media to pay tribute to her parents as they marked 30 years of marriage.

Taking to Instagram, the documentary maker shared a picture of them together alongside her brother Brad, taken during a recent family trip to Dubai, and said: “happy anniversary to my wonderful parents. 30 years! Thank you for always loving us and eachother unconditionally.”
