A woman took to the stage in a karaoke bar to sing her heart out to a well-known punk rock song before being told the person who wrote and performed the song was sat watching her performance

A woman was left absolutely gobsmacked to discover none other than a music legend in the crowd as she belted out one of his iconic tracks in a small karaoke bar.

Dressed strikingly in a towel dress, a woman took the mic to knock out punk rock band Blink-182’s hit ‘All the Small Things’, delivering what was described as an unforgettable performance complete with floor drops and the signature punk rock scream.

Unbeknownst to her, amongst the audience, was a chap dressed in a casual white tee and backward cap, vibing along to the energetic woman. While most people might have not had a second look of the man, one audience member quickly realised how amazing the moment was.

Kyle, an onlooker, did not miss this golden opportunity and began recording the energetic rendition before panning across to unveil Tom DeLonge, the actual writer and voice behind those very lyrics, acknowledging her enthusiasm a few tables away.

The TikTok uploaded by Kyle came accompanied with a caption that read: “She had no idea the guy who wrote that song was sitting right there. I told her and her friends and they lost their minds.”

Tom is famous for his stints with the beloved trio Blink-182 alongside Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker from 1992 to 2005, 2009 to 2015, and once again since 2022, has also been acting as lead singer and guitarist with rock band Angels and Airwaves which he formed when he first left Blink-182 in 2005.

Kyle dropped a sequel on the video sharing platform showcasing another slice of the woman’s raucous cover, letting loose her punk-charged vocals later in the track.

The two videos, which have amassed over 915,000 views in total, captured the attention of the performer herself, Monica, who was approached by Kyle after her show to be informed about her notable spectator.

Kyle later shared a snapshot of Monica engaging with the Blink-182 star post-performance, still donned in her towel attire.

In the video’s caption, Kyle penned: “This is a photo of her running over to @TomDeLonge after I told them he was sitting right there.”

Viewers were astounded upon realising whom they had seen in the footage, with numerous fans flocking to the comments section to share their reactions to the serendipitous encounter.

One admirer confessed: “I’m in love with Tom Delonge. I would pass away if he saw me like this,” while another remarked: “He’s at her show watching, waiting, commiserating.”

A third exclaimed in surprise: “She had NO idea he was at her show,” and yet another noted: “I know he approved of the outfit too that is very Tom coded. Also why are we not acknowledging the WAITING.”

Additionally, an eagle-eyed fan spotted what appeared to be another celebrity presence, commenting: “No one talking about Samuel L Jackson sitting there too?!”

This observation was reinforced by another user who questioned: “We just ignoring young Samuel L Jackson sat in front?!”.
