This Morning viewers were not pleased with one particular segment during Thursday’s show as they all flocked to social media to share their thoughts.
This Morning viewers were left less than thrilled with one of Thursday’s (April 17) segments. At the start of the show, presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary kicked off with a culinary demonstration.
Chef Rosemary Shrager was in the studio, ready to teach ITV’s audience how to bake an Italian-inspired chocolate, almond and orange cake.
But as the chef proceeded with the recipe, the audience rapidly voiced their discontent. She hastened through the Easter special’s instructions, sparking dismay on social media, reports Wales Online.
One viewer complained: “This is chaotic.” Another remarked: “This cook is insufferable. Absolute car crash.”

Someone else added: “Is this cake a speed challenge? She’s frantic and I’m exhausted! #thismorning.”
While a different viewer suggested: “This chef needs to calm down lol.” One tweeter observed: “She’s out of breath and the cake is not even ready yet.”
Someone else declared: “Absolute car crash of a cooking segment.” Another simply wrote: “Chaotic…”
As she launched into the demonstration, Rosemary assured Alison and Dermot: “I promise you it is not going to be chaos today!”
Despite her promise, the hosts disclosed that the chef had already caused a minor mishap by overboiling something, which Rosemary took in stride with laughter.
Dermot couldn’t resist quipping:”We do love the chaos!” Once Rosemary began blending two components, Dermot had to prompt her to identify the ingredients.
As the 74-year-old demonstrated how to bake the Easter cake, Dermot sought clarification on the number of eggs being used. Alison then corrected her for mistakenly referring to egg yolks instead of egg whites.
This wasn’t Rosemary’s only appearance on the show, as she later took part in a phone-in segment.
The chef was ready to assist callers with their Easter food conundrums.
During this part of the programme, she helped an uncle find healthy and tasty treats to prepare, offered advice on preventing a sponge from sinking in the middle, and suggested alternatives to citrus fruits.
This Morning is available to watch on ITVX.
