Here’s what you need to know:
Shoppers are loving the size and the colours of the small cases
It’s the time of year when people’s thoughts turn to holidays and if you’re going away you’ll need something to stick all your stuff in.
With airlines charging extra for luggage, many people try to get away with a small cabin bag rather, especially if they’re only heading for a short break.
Or they might be putting a larger case in hold, but wanting to keep a smaller one for hand luggage and valuables they don’t want to part with.
Well Matalan is selling a range of cases and its ‘cabin size approved’ ones are proving particularly popular – especially with a current 20% off deal bring them down to £40.
The retailer shared a Facebook post showing the IT Luggage sets in green, cream and navy – which include smaller vanity cases – and it’s attracted thousands of responses from shoppers keen to get their hands on them.

“How nice are these colours,” said one, with another adding: “Need a trip to Matalan now then.”
A third added: “Not going anywhere but still want one.”
Others said they have bought something similar from Primark, with some shoppers suggesting that you’re better with a softer bag in the cabin.
“Get a rucksack. Easier to carry, and you get much more in,” said one. Another said: “Rather use a travel bag which has a back strap that hold the bag on top of suitcase or a back pack.”
