Quick overview:
The winning ticket was bought in the Sevenoaks District
The National Lottery is still appealing for a player with a winning Set For Life ticket worth a whopping £3,600,000 – and time is running out for them to claim their prize.
The outstanding jackpot is the highest amount that can be won in a Set For Life draw as the ticket holder matched all five numbers plus the Life Ball, the prize for which would accumulate to a whopping £3,600,000 over the 30 years.
Drawn on 24 October 2024, the winner now has less than two weeks to come forward and claim their prize – with the deadline for claiming falling on 22 April 2025.
The winning ticket was bought in the Sevenoaks District, costing just £1.50, and the winning numbers were 2, 11, 29, 37, 45, and Life Ball 6.
A Set For Life draw takes place twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays, and there is a cash prize for matching all five numbers (without matching the Life Ball) of £10,000 every month for a year – resulting in a total of £120,000.
If no prize winner comes forward to claim their winnings by the deadline, 22 April, the money and any interest earned on it will go to benefit National Lottery Projects across the UK.
Throughout March, the National Lottery was appealing for the winner to come forward and claim their prize. Sevenoaks train station in Kent was taken over by special announcements raising awareness about the mysterious ticket holder.
Patrick Lisoire from The National Lottery operator Allwyn, said, “Sevenoaks station is one of the busiest transport hubs in the district, so it’s possible the lucky ticketholder, or someone they know, is travelling through here.
“If they are, hopefully we will have reminded them to check that ticket and then, fingers crossed, some very lucky person will do just that and realise they are now ‘set for life’. Wouldn’t it be incredible to be able to swap a season ticket for a winning National Lottery ticket!”
For those players who aren’t sure how to claim, there is some useful information on the National Lottery website explaining how to claim.
The National Lottery publishes all unclaimed prizes on its website, and there is currently an unclaimed EuroMillions winner of £321,840.60 as well as the second highest Set For Life prize which is £10,000 per month for one year.
