Quick overview:
The Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 serum has been reduced to just £4.55 as part of a limited edition deal with LookFantastic – The Dermatological Edit costs £50 and contains 11 science backed formulas
A ‘game changing’ anti-ageing skincare sensation loved by This Morning beauty expert Nadine Baggott is available for a tenth of its usual price as part of a deal with LookFantastic. Medik8’s Crystal Retinal 3 would usually cost £49, but works out at £4.55 as part of the offer.
It comes as LookFantastic has launched a limited edition Dermatological Edit. Worth more than £170, the haul contains 11 science-backed skincare products, and is available for shoppers to buy for £50 – just £1 more than buying the Medik8 hero on its own.
Offering savings of over 70%, the edit features ‘everything you need to enter your best skin ever era’. Customers can expect to find a whole ghost of celebrity-loved brands, like Augustinus Bader, as well as expert-loved picks from [coat]s, First Aid Beauty and more.

The Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 Serum is the second highest strength of the brand’s Vitamin A skincare product. Suited for beginners and sensitive skin, it’s said to deliver gentle fine-line reducing benefits.
The main ingredient in the anti-ageing formula is retinal, which is a next-generation vitamin A which acts 11x faster than standard retinol. The night serum is clinically proven to visibly smooth stubborn wrinkles, brighten dark spots, decongest and firm your skin without irritation.
The serum has earned a 4.8 star rating based on more than 5,000 reviews. One shopper said it was a ‘game changer’ for her skin, adding: “Absolutely love this product. It has been a game changer for my skin and it does not cause any irritation when used as per instructions.”
Another added: “One product I keep going back to. Works amazingly on my sensitive skin & is helping slow down those early signs of ageing.” While a third penned: “My favourite product from Medik8 . My skin is very dry and it helps rejuvenate it over night and reduce the fine line of wrinkles on my face.”
However, some haven;t had quite as successful of an experience, commenting: “This might be a good product, but with my fair skin, the yellow color of the crème is really yellow on my skin so cannot wear it during the day. And at night it stains my pillow cases, some of it washed out but not all of it. So I’m thinking it would make a good day time mask. But other than that I’m satisfied with results.”
It’s important to note that the Medik8 Crystal Retinal is an evening only product due to the vitamin A content. The colour comes as a result of the natural ingredients and can stain pillowcases, however, Medik8 recommend applying the cream some time before bed to allow it to absorb, and ‘seal’ it in with a moisturiser to help reduce this issue.
While skincare buffs will no doubt find this the most exciting item in the box, there’s also a whole host of other products to discover, too, from an anti-blemish gel to a hydrating sheet mask. Here’s everything that’s inside the Dermatological Edit.

So far, the edit has received nothing but praise from LookFantastic shoppers. One said: “Received this today and very pleased with it. I wanted to try the Medik8 retinal anyway so great value. Would highly recommend lots of great products to try. Includes a few minis but great for my hols!”
Another added: “I was so excited to see the medik8 3 in this edit, I had to have it! An absolute bargain for some incredible products I’ve tried and some I haven’t as they’re on the expensive side. I love LF edits as I get to try the more expensive products I wouldn’t usually buy.”
While a third penned: “Really amazing set. My favourite is Medik8 for sure and cost as much as a box so no brainer. Looking forward to try sun protection as its new to me and other products I like already. One of the better sets.”
In other beauty deals, esteemed heritage brand Elizabeth Arden has also reduced a number of skincare sets. The Prevage 2.0 Serum Turn Back Time 4-Piece Set is worth £248, but is now £130.65. According to the brand, the products help to visibly reverse ageing signs and protect against environmental damage for younger-looking skin.
Marks and Spencer has launched a brand new beauty box containing ‘over £130’ worth of skincare and fragrance – but shoppers can snap it up for £30. The Made for an Icon Beauty Box stars seven items in total, three of which are full-sized, and is a great way to try a variety of brands for a fraction of their usual price.
