Having a camera in your doorbell is super convenient, especially if you have other Amazon Alexa devices already in the home. The video feed can be pulled up on Alexa devices with a screen, like an Echo Show or a Fire TV.

If you don’t have an Alexa device, you can still view the video feed through the app. A two-way speaker and microphone on the doorbell lets you speak to whoever is at the door in real-time, even if you’re out of the house.

The only major downside to the Ring Doorbell is that you’ll need to pay a subscription to save your video recordings in the cloud. This might be a hindrance if you’re looking to save on money in the long run.
