A negotiator, believed to be from Greater Manchester Police, was also called to the scene
Police taped off a street in a tense stand-off with a man who scaled the roofs of homes in Fleetwood on Monday (April 21).
Officers had been called to Bold Street and Windsor Terrace near the seafront in an attempt to talk down a man who had climbed onto the roof.
Lancashire Police sealed off the area, along with the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service. A local reported that a negotiator from Greater Manchester Police was also called to the scene.

It is understood the man was wanted by police and had been on top of a property. An aerial ladder was used in the negotiations after roof tiles were reportedly thrown to the ground below.
According to LancsLive, a 33-year-old was later arrested after police talked a wanted man down from the roof. It is not known how long the negotiations went on for.
A nearby resident posted on social media: “[He] ripped off all the ridge tiles down the street smashing numerous windows and cars on the road.
“The guy negotiating took less than an hour to talk him down with help from the fire brigade. Let’s just say it worked and hopefully he gets the help he needs.”
Lancashire Police have been contacted for a full statement.
