Here’s what you need to know:
Man United face Lyon in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final at Old Trafford this evening.
Harry Maguire, Patrick Dorgu and Kobbie Mainoo are in contention to return to the Manchester United starting XI for tonight’s Europa League quarter-final second leg against Lyon at Old Trafford.
The trio were among the players to arrive at Old Trafford shortly after 4pm ahead of this evening’s 8pm kick-off. United are aiming to advance to the semi-finals of the competition after last week’s first leg finished 2-2 at the Groupama Stadium.
Head coach Ruben Amorim is expected to name a similar line-up to the one that started in France a week ago after making the decision to make five changes against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon.
The United boss confirmed at yesterday’s press conference that Andre Onana would return to the squad and start in goal this evening after being left out of the team at the weekend. He was spotted making his way into the stadium at around 4.15pm alongside fellow shot-stopper Altay Bayindir.
Maguire and Dorgu were both named on the bench against Newcastle at the weekend, with Dorgu appearing in the second half. The Dane has started every Europa League game since joining United from Lecce in February.
Mainoo, meanwhile, will be targeting his first start since returning from injury earlier this month.
Other pre-match arrivals included the likes of Harry Amass, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes.
Prior to the players arriving, Amorim stopped to sign autographs and pose for pictures with some supporters who had gathered outside the players’ entrance.
A total of 21 players were seen arriving at Old Trafford, meaning the full squad is yet to be confirmed, with up to 23 players allowed to be included in a matchday squad in the Europa League.
Confirmed arrivals:
Goalkeepers: Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton.
Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, Jaydan Kamason, Victor Lindelof, Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire, Godwill Kukonki, Luke Shaw, Patrick Dorgu, Harry Amass.
Midfielders: Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Manuel Ugarte, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Bruno Fernandes.
Attackers: Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho.
