Manchester-based comedian Brennan Reece appeared in the latest episode of Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and got punched by fan favourite Frankie Osborne, played by Isabelle Smith

Hollyoaks fans may recognise a familar face during the latest episode of the Channel 4 soap.

During Tuesday’s (April 8) instalment, which is now available to stream, Grace Black (Tamara Wall) decided to plan her own party behind DI Banks’s (Drew Cain) back.

Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) doubted Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Wernham) is the mole but gave him one last chance to tell him what he needs to know.

With the threat of getting to Lexi Roscoe (Marnie Fletcher) not even working, he leaves and Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) comes out of the shadows to help Robbie.

Robbie was left shocked when Dodger revealed his identity but was relieved to hear he’ll help him escape.

Dodger later turned to girlfriend Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) for help.

Having doubts but feeling like they don’t have a choice, Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) headed to Grace’s party.

In The Loft, Dillon struggled to get in the mood and when a guy approached him saying he’s paid so needed to do whatever he’s told, Dillon tried to push him off.

Seeing her friend in need, Frankie went to help and ended up punching the client played by Manchester comedian, writer and actor Brennan Reece.

The TV star has featured on the Liverpool based Have a Word podcast and on a recent episode he mentioned his upcoming appearance in Hollyoaks.

Later in the episode, Rex and Grace quickly rushed over to try to smooth things over with Brennan’s character but things got worse for Grace when Rex questioned her on knowing the name Dodger.

Viewers later witnessed Dillon being jumped and dodgy DI Banks paying off the anonymous thug.

Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
