Manchester City came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 5-2 on a dramatic afternoon at the Etihad Stadium.

Goals from Eberechi Eze and Chris Richards put Palace into a shock 2-0 lead and it almost got worse for City when Eze saw second goal, that would have moved the Eagles 3-0 ahead, disallowed for offside.

That seemed to spark City into life, though, and a Kevin De Bruyne free-kick, followed by an Omar Marmoush strike, saw Pep Guardiola’s side go into half-time with the scoreline all square.

And City shifted through the gears in the second half as goals from Mateo Kovacic, James McAtee and Nico O’Reilly ensured they ran out 5-2 winners and picked up a priceless three points in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The win lifted City into fourth place in the Premier League table but they could fall back out of the top five, which would ensure Champions League qualification next season, should Chelsea and Newcastle win on Sunday.

With that in mind, here is a look at how City’s next six fixtures compare to their nearest rivals in the Premier League.
