A man has appeared in court accused of the unlawful killing of a 38-year-old man in north Manchester.
Michael Barron, 38, tragically died after paramedics were called to an address on Lakeside Rise in Blackley following concerns for his welfare on January 26.
Today at Minshull Street Crown Court, Josh Baxter, 27, of Blackley, appeared in the dock charged with manslaughter. He spoke only to confirm his identity.
No pleas were entered during the short hearing and a provisional trial date was set for July 21, 2025.
Mr Baxter was remanded into custody and will next appear on June 9.
