A Good Morning Britain star got more than he bargained for after being confronted by Vicky Pattison’s mother for making a comment about her I’m A Celebrity stint

Vicky Pattison reveals her furious mum confronted a Good Morning Britain star over his comments about the Geordie Shore star. Vicky made the revelation as she spoke to Rylan Clark’s Air Rylan YouTube series about her marriage and career. The confrontation reportedly happened after Vicky had won I’m a Celebrity, Get Me out of Here.

GMB regular Andi Peters congratulated Vicky on her victory before her mother Carol cornered the TV personality for his perceived hypocrisy. Vicky said the incident happened when Carol came storming out of business class on a flight to address Andi.

“We were chatting and Andi was saying well done and all this,” Vicki recalled, before explaining her mother approached and verbally “went for him on the plane”.

The former Geordie Shore star continued and claimed her furious mother said: “You’ve got a cheek speaking to her. You have changed your tune now she won, how dare you, blah blah blah.”

Vicky claimed, unbeknownst to her at the time because she had been in the jungle, Andi had publicly questioned why Vicky had been put in the competition in the first place.

“Poor Andi Peters got an absolute Geordie mother’s mouthful,” said Vicky. “I think he said sorry and f****d off. I felt so sorry for him. Bless him, I don’t think he knew where to put himself.”

Rylan continued: “I suppose it is a lesson for Andi Peters, who is a dear, dear, dear lovely man. It is a lesson – you never know who you are going to bump into.”

Rylan and Vicky then reminisced about their careers and the early days of when they first met each other.

Vicky said she felt old now because she gets “annoyed at silly things that young people just don’t care about.”

Rylan agreed, citing wheelie bins as a pet hate of his – including having to rent extra green bins which had Vicky in hysterics.

“Don’t talk to me about bins,” yelled Rylan. “They want you to put everything in a sack. I’m sorry love, I’ve done well, I’ve got an acre-and-a-half of f***ing grass, it ain’t going in a sack. So I’ve had to pay the council for four wheelie bins – £60 a bin – that’s 240 quid a year, rent. Rent! I don’t own the f***ing wheelies.”

“This is not the conversation of two young people,” admitted Vicky, who added: “I’ll just say that.”

It comes after Vicky announced some huge career news earlier this year. Announcing the news on social media, she shared a number of photo highlights from her time on Heart North East radio, explaining that model Kelly Brook will be taking her place.

She wrote: “It is with a heavy heart I say that after almost 2 years getting you guys home from work, back from school, heading out with the gals and everything in-between our little radio show has come to an end.

“As a proud geordie I have absolutely loved presenting @thisisheart in the North East- it has honestly been a dream come true- the most incredible adventure. From having it on my vision board to actually hosting the Great North Run, to skating with @disneyonice gang at @arenanewcastle and the endless laughs we’ve had along the way!

“I will miss the time spent up here, the extra time it allowed me to spend with my family and friends in the north and mostly I will miss my amazing team at @thisisheart- @adamlawrance @producercharlotte @splodg @samlaveryy @tombrammer34 @gilo80 and David. And honestly, I can’t wait to see what everyone achieves next.”
