With the change in weather often wreaking havoc on our skin, spring is a great time to refresh skincare routines. ESPA’s Easter sale has seen the brand offer up to 30% off some of their most popular products, including a soothing moisturiser and dreamily-scented shower gel.

As a beauty writer, bargain lover and ESPA fan, I’ve taken a look at their discounts and picked out some of the best offers. Here’s what I’m adding to my self-care basket:

Optimal Skin Pro-Moisturiser SPF 30 – was £50 now £45

This glow-giving moisturiser has long been a fan favourite, and now, has the added benefit of SPF30. Designed to hydrate dry, dull skin, its fast-absorbing formula is cooling on the skin and has a stunning Sweet Orange, Neroli, and Bergamot fragrance.

ESPA said: “The perfect way to integrate SPF protection into your skincare or makeup routine, this moisturiser quenches dehydrated skin but also protects skin year-round with vitality and luminosity.”

Users have hailed it as ‘perfect for everyday use’. One five-star review read: “My go-to moisturiser for every day leaves skin fab.” Another added: “Perfect for everyday use as it’s lightweight and not greasy. Leaves a nice glow and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin like other SPF products I’ve tried!”

However, some found it to be on the thinner side. “This is a great product, it makes my skin feel good. Only thing I can say is that it is quite a ‘runny’ consistency which can make it difficult to use,” they wrote.

Bergamot and Jasmine Bath and Shower Gel – was £20 now £18

For those who enjoy a soak in the tub after a long week, this soap-free body cleanser is a dream for delivering refreshed, delicately fragranced skin. Another added: “Really lovely scent that leaves the skin feeling soft and cleansed. Would be nice if it came in a glass bottle like the hand wash and miniature bath oils.”

Soothing Diffuser – was £48 now £33.60

Should shoppers want their home to smell like a spa all day long, this soothing diffuser should do the trick. It’s expertly blended to promote relaxation, combining Myrrh’s mellow notes with comforting Sandalwood, Rose Geranium and Frankincense.

The hand-poured diffuser is said to ‘restore tranquillity, ease the mind and de-stress the body’, and comes in a white glossy vessel with natural rattan reeds that will look beautiful in any room. “I love this smell. I received it as a gift and have it in my bedroom,” said one fan. “I find it calming, like my very own home spa scent!”

However, it did leave some shoppers craving a more intense scent, adding: “If you bought this last year and loved it you will be very disappointed – it doesn’t fill the room with the amazing aroma as it used to. I really hope Espa go back to the old amazing recipe.”

But another customer commented: “I have purchased the soothing scent diffuser and it can not be beaten in y opinion. I have Jo Malone, Neom and various other candles and diffusers but always come back to this scent. It is beautiful, so classic and non-offensive…I have them throughout my home .”

Restful Collection – worth £102 now £59.50

Perhaps one of the best value picks is this Restful Collection. Worth £102, it originally retailed for £85 but has been reduced further to £59.50 in the sale. Inside, shoppers will find a bath milk, night cream, pulse point oil and pillow mist all in a calming Lavender, Eucalyptus, and Clary Sage fragrance.

Ideal for anyone who values their beauty sleep, the gift set is completed with ESPA’s 100% silk eye mask to comfort and cradle tired eyes. While it may have been part of the brand’s Christmas collection, there’s nothing too festive about the design, making it a lovely year-round selection for gifting or treating yourself.
