Caleb has started to realise that Joe Tate is up to no good after learning about Noah’s spiking incident

Emmerdale viewers have been celebrating, as they think Caleb Miligan is finally starting to connect the dots when it comes to Joe Tate.

During Wednesday’s (April 16) instalment, Charity told Caleb to stay far away from Joe as she’s certain he’s up to no good and potentially dangerous.

Caleb and Ruby became worried after Joe Tate found Steph in the woods, as she told him they’re “not even related”. They became determined to see how much Joe knew and to quell his suspicions.

Not too far from the actual truth, Caleb informed Joe that Anthony was violent and Ruby stayed at someone’s house to get away from him one night, leading to Steph.

Joe apologised for prying into such a personal issue, but as he spoke to Noah after the dinner party it was clear that he wasn’t entirely convinced.

In recent weeks, Joe was revealed to have chronic kidney disease and after various visits from Dr Crowley, it was shared that Joe had tried to spike Noah to get his kidney, but he turned out not to be a match.

As he reached the lows of desperation, Joe promised the dodgy doctor that he had a plan as he set his sights on Caleb.

Luckily, Caleb recovered but his suspicions have continued to grow, particularly after Charity let slip that she is convinced Joe spiked Noah in Wednesday’s episode.

Later, Caleb was determined to find out more and so ripped a light fitting out of the wall at the depot and rang Noah to come and fix it.

After probing slightly about the spiking, Noah admitted he doesn’t think it happened as there’s no reason for it to. However, he then told Caleb that he did have a vision where Joe was there as well as a creepy doctor in a hospital.

A flash of recognition showed on Caleb’s face, perhaps recalling his own visions that he had after the kidney surgery.

Now, fans are convinced that Caleb has finally started to figure out what Joe did to him. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), @page_lace30 wrote: “Caleb will split Joe in half when he finds out where his body part has gone and put him back to square one”

@LauraJeanneH added: “Caleb is going to join the dots now” as another viewer, @homebrew19721 echoed: “Caleb is on to joe”.
