Jack P Shepherd is continuing to be supported by his Coronation Street co-stars as they offered more insight into the real actor – including his food habits – as he remains in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Following Thursday’s (April 17) episode of the ITV reality show, fans were left confused over the soap star as they felt his fellow housemates have a ‘vendetta’ against him.

Jack, who is famed for playing David Platt in Corrie, has avoided being put up for his third eviction after recieving two nominations from his fellow housemates – Danny Beard and Ella Rae Wise.

It came after he faced the first two evicitions of Celebrity Big Brother’s 2025 series, with his co-stars seemingly blaming his lack of openness for their votes.

Giving her reasonings for nominating Jack, TOWIE star Ella told Big Brother: “I never really feel like it’s conversations about his life and him opening up about things. I feel like he’s a very closed book.

“The only things I could literally tell you about Jack is that he has two tea bags in his cup of tea and he’s getting married in June… it’s like trying to get blood out of a stone.”

Danny also told how he feels Jack is a “wind-up” which doesn’t help the high-pressured situation there under as they’re stuck with one another under the gaze of multiple cameras 24 hours a day.

It left fans wondering if Jack’s fellow housemates have something against him. @PastelUnicorn5 said: “This vendetta against Jack and Patsy is so annoying!! #CelebrityBigBrother #CBB #CBBUK.”

@jamiieebell commented: “Danny is so jarring, what’s he got against Jack??” Another viewer @Itt39354118 added: “I think they’re nominating Jack for nothing”

During the episode, Jack’s Corrie co-star Sally Ann Matthews, who is famed for playing Jenny Connor in the ITV soap, took to X, and said: “Catching up with #CBBUK. Oh Danny, you just don’t get him. He’d rather have an orange club than a Chinese meal. He’s a tidgy little thing for goodness sake!”

And speaking of Jack’s food habbits, his On the Sofa podcast co-hosts Colson Smith and Nick Tilsley, who also star in Corrie, were discussing Chris Hughes choosing Jack as his dining partner as he cashed in his takeaway voucer from the game show task in the very first episode.

Speaking as part of their daily debriefs while Jack is in the CBB house, Ben said: “For the boy who never eats, he got a Chinese. He literally would have had a spare rib and gone, ‘I’m done!'” Colson went on: “I was thinking when Chris said he wanted to share it with Jack, I was like, ‘You’re picking the wrong person there’.

“He’s not a foodie, our Jack.” Ben then echoed: “He won’t eat f**k all. He’ll have a chocolate bar and that’ll be it. He won’t be ar**d. He has the same sandwich at work anyway.”
