As fans of the ITV soap know, the Underworld factory boss is still owed money from Jenny Connor and Daisy Midgeley

Coronation Street fans have said they are ‘infuriated’ and were left issuing a demand over Carla Connor as the truth about the money she is owed was uncovered.

The Underworld factory boss is still owed money from Jenny Connor and Daisy Midgeley after they sneakily got hold of the money originally nicked from Carla’s business account by serial killer Stephen Reid.

With the pub being sold from underneath Jenny. Daisy did some digging into the missing money of Stephen’s death and she found Stephen’s journal which was dumped by his mother Audrey Roberts.

After studying his notes and scribbles, Daisy figures out the password for the account holding the significant amount of money he had stolen from Carla Connor’s factory, Underworld.

A panicked Jenny didn’t know what to do but Daisy managed to convince her that they should use the hidden lump sum to buy the pub back but she promised Jenny they’d pay Carla back every penny.

So the pair brought back the Rovers and agreed to be secret co-owners, however, Daisy’s co-ownership has since been uncovered and the pair claimed they got the money from her mother, Christina, after the bank turned down their loan application.

But the truth about where they got the money was first nearly exposed by Christina Boyd, who actually kept up the lie in a power move over her daughter.

In the end though, it was Bethany Platt’s digging that unravelled Daisy and Jenny’s lies and Carla eventually found out what really happened to her money.

But after waiting some time for its return, Carla’s decided action needs taking and that the Rovers Return needs to be sold for her to recoup her missing cash which she now needs to give to stepdaughter Betsy Swain, as her savings were used to pay for her kidney transplant.

Carla broke the news to Jenny that she needs to pay Lisa Swain back and that she’s decided to sell the pub, leaving Jenny shocked. She eventually shared Carla’s demand with Daisy, who has since found out that Jenny plans to buy the pub back for herself with the money Daisy’s dad invested for her years ago, which has now come to fruition.

As Corrie fans know, Daisy is now in cahoots with her mother to get her hands on the cash. They are catfishing Jenny with the help of ‘Dom’ but during Wednesday night’s (April 24) edition of the ITV soap, Christina’s true intentions were incovered.

While ‘Dom’ has told Jenny he was selling his business and promised that anyone investing in the next few days would double their money, he and Christina actually plan to split the money she hands over between the two of them, leaving nothing for Daisy.

But Corrie fans were fuming on Carla’s behalf, especially with Dom’s suggestion that she is ‘loaded’ and therefore doesn’t need to money like they do.
