The Hollywood star was removed from the show after behaving ‘inappropriately’
Mickey Rourke has been seen for the first time since being asked to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The Sin City star, 72, cut a dishevelled figure as he was spotted loitering outside a plush London hotel, clutching a takeaway coffee while flanked by a burly security guard.
Wearing dark shades and a weathered expression, Rourke looked every inch the battle-worn boxer — ironic, given his real-life history in the ring.
Sources close to the star say he’s been laying low since his dramatic eviction from ITV’s blockbuster show.
Rourke was removed after losing his temper during an expletive-laden row with fellow contestant Chris Hughes.
During a pirate-themed task which took place in the garden of the iconic property, JoJo Siwa was given the role of Captain and was put in charge of steering the ship.
There was a moment in the game where some confusion arose between Chris and Mickey, with the latter accusing the 32-year-old of eyeballing him.
Chris responded by insisting he was just making a joke, to which Rourke answered back: “Don’t f***ing eyeball me. You c***.”
Mickey eventually apologised to Chris after being scolded by Big Brother, but found himself in hot water again a short while later over a comment he made which made Ella Rae Wise uncomfortable.
Summoned to the Diary Room once again, Big Brother said: “Mickey, Big Brother needs to speak to you about your behaviour.
“Earlier today in a disagreement with Chris, your language and behaviour was threatening and aggressive. Big Brother does not tolerate threatening language or behaviour. In addition, you have used inappropriate sexual language to Ella.”
Mickey offered his apologies, but it wasn’t enough as Big Brother ordered him to leave the house for good.
“Big Brother considers your language and behaviour today to be seriously unacceptable and as a result Big Brother has no option but to ask you to leave the Big Brother house.”
When asked if he had anything he wanted to say before he leaves, the 72-year-old responded: “I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I’m sorry for that.
“I’m actually ashamed of myself for getting that hot,” he added. “I went over the line, you know, I did wrong. I guess, like they say, I’m a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn’t chosen.”
While many thought Rourke would get the boot during Friday night’s eviction, former Tory MP Michael Fabricant was the one eliminated instead.
The series continues on Sunday at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
