Chesney wasted no time is opening up about his pastimes

Celebrity Big Brother fans claimed that the show has show has ‘peaked already’ after Chesney Hawkes stripped naked just minutes into launch night.

Last year saw ITV, who began airing Big Brother in 2023 after it was axed by Channel 5 in 2018, broadcast their take on the celebrity edition of the programme for the first time.

The first season of ITV’s version of Celebrity Big Brother was won by Ibiza Weekenders’ David Potts after 19 days in the house.

With the series returning on Monday night (April 7), fans have been speculating on just who will be locking themselves away from reality for the unique social experiment.

Presenting live from the Big Brother house on Monday (April 7), presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best introduced Chesney into the house first.

“I am the one and only. I had absolutely no idea what was ahead of me when I released that song… I think my kids like my music, my son has to because he’s my guitar player,” he said in his video package.

Things took a turn moments later when Chesney described himself as a ‘bit of a nudist’, who ‘likes to get naked’.

The video then cut to Chesney without any clothes on, only having his guitar and the Big Brother logo to cover his modesty.

Upon meeting AJ and Will, Chesney was told that he ‘showed us your cheeky side’, to which he took in good spirits and said he ‘peaked early’.

A stunned AJ replied: “You never peaked too soon.”

As Chesney left, Will joked to the crowd: “He was the one and only, now he’s the wang and only.”

Those watching at home couldn’t get over what they were seeing as they took to X, previously known as Twitter, to have their say.

After entering the house, Chesney was told he must introduce himself as ‘the one and only Chesney Hawkes’ to the first 4 housemates to enter the house in a reference to his iconic hit.
