Celebrity Big Brother fans said that Jack P Shepherd ‘deserves a sponsorship’ after taking drastic measures on Friday night (April 18).

The latest episode of the ITV reality show marked the first time that the Coronation Street actor was not up for eviction.

After fans opted to vote him over former MP Michael Fabricant and talk show presenter Trisha Goddard, Jack was safe heading into the night.

Instead of fearing the David Platt actor would be eliminated, viewers got to see Jack continuing to showcase his unique sense of humour.

At the beginning of the episode, Jack recalled stepping on legendary singer Tom Jones’ foot on the red carpet.

With all of the housemates having to dress up as cats for the latest Big Brother task, Jack left his fellow stars in stitches with a story about his late cat.

He recalled: “I had a cat, but he died. I had to bury him in the garden. My dad said “they go hard very quickly” and I said “mine’s gone proper floppy, are you sure it’s dead?’.”

However, Jack’s shining moment of the night arrived when he attempted to make a cup of tea while dressed up in a giant cat outfit.

Consistently seen in the house with a warm brew in his hand, Jack took a unique approach when making his favourite drink.

Boiling the kettle, Jack opted to put his beverage in a cat’s bowl instead of failing the challenge and using a mug.

Those watching at home couldn’t get enough of the moment as they took to X, previously known as Twitter, to have their say.

Meanwhile, Jack’s fiancee Hanni Treweek appeared on Lorraine this week to talk about his obsession with tea.

“I would say in one day we are looking at about eight cups of tea. In the Big Brother house, he’s going towards double digits. They stay up so late as well.

“He makes a brilliant cup of tea and that’s what I really miss. When he’s at the house, I need him to make a cup of tea,” she admitted.
