Celebrity Big Brother fans felt confused after the housemates were asked to nominate their fellow stars ready to face eviction the following day.
During Monday’s (14th April) instalment, Big Brother asked the celebrities to name the person that they would like to put up for eviction and their reason why.
For the second week in a row, Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd has been placed up for eviction by fellow housemates. EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer and Trisha Goddard also received the most amount of nominations.
Jack received four nominations from Angellica, Danny, Donna and Trisha. Patsy received six nominations from Angellica, Chesney, Chris, Danny, JoJo and Trisha. Meanwhile, Trisha received four nominations from Chesney, Chris, Ella and Patsy.
Speaking to Big Brother in the Diary Room, Ella said: “My first nomination is Chris.
“Just because I don’t know 100% if he’s being his genuine self and I wouldn’t know that because the only time we speak is if we ask each other if we’re ok and is there anything that we want.
“We haven’t had any other conversation other than that.
“I feel like he’s keeping himself to one person only and that’s obviously JoJo. He hasn’t allowed himself to make connections with anyone else other than her.
“I feel like he’s playing a massive game.”
Upon Chesney’s turn, he announced: “My first nomination is Trisha. I sometimes find it difficult having conversations with Trisha. I think there were a few times when I was talking about something emotional and then she took it off to what she wanted to talk about it. It can sometimes feel like you’re on the Trisha show.”
Voting for Tuesday’s eviction opens at 10pm April 14th exclusively via the Big Brother app, with viewers being asked to vote for the housemate they wish to save from eviction. Tuesday (April 15th) night will see the next eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house and the evictee’s first live interview with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
Some viewers felt confused as to the reasons of some nominations. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), @PastelUnicorn5 wrote: “Not sure how or why Patsy is getting so many nominations”.
@DuncanLindsay added: “Soap stars getting a rough old deal in nominations, I’m personally affronted” as @_tventhusiast penned: “I’m voting to save Jack, I’ve not seen any reason why he deserves all these nominations and he’s taken being up well both times.”
