The actor is getting used to life in the Big Brother house

Celebrity Big Brother fans were left ‘crying’ over Mickey Rourke’s mix-up with Chris Hughes in the second episode of the reality show.

The Oscar nominee stunned ITV viewers on Monday night (April 7) when he became the final contestant to enter the house on Monday night.

Mickey could not be living away from society with stars such as EastEnders Patsy Palmer, former politician Michael Fabricant and singer JoJo Siwa.

On Tuesday night (April 8), Mickey was called to Big Brother’s Prize Room to choose gifts to give his housemates.

Explaining the rules Big Brother said: “Mickey, right here there are some incredible goodies for you to grab and with a whopping 2400 points to spend, you can buy whatever prize your heart desires.

“Every prize has a price tag, and how you spend your points is up to you. Mickey, it’s time to make your decisions. What is the first prize you would like to purchase?”

After taking several minutes to decide, Mickey chose a smoothie maker for Daley Thompson and Big Brother’s Tasty Takeaway Pass for Love Island star Chris.

Mickey was saddened to learn that Chris wouldn’t be getting the scooter the takeaway was sitting on, with the actor calling Chris the ‘Australian guy’.

In an exciting twist, Mickey was then invited to Big Brother’s Top Secret Power Prize Room, where he faced three choices.

The 72-year-old chose The Guardian Angel, this power allows him to select a housemate to receive immunity in the next eviction, over giving himself immunity or picking one housemate to face the next eviction.

Mickey now has 24 hours to get to know his housemates and decide to save from becoming the first person axed from the series.

Those watching at home were left in stitches by Mickey getting used to the show, with him questioning when the cameras begin filming.
