Three housemates were sent home following the latest public vote

Celebrity Big Brother fans have expressed their major ‘issue’ they had with the reality show’s stunning triple eviction.

Heading into Tuesday evening (April 22), viewers knew that three of the housemates would be leaving the programme as it nears its finale.

Viewers had to vote to save between Love Island’s Chris Hughes, EastEnders Patsy Palmer, presenter Angellica Bell, drag queen Danny Beard and Towie’s Ella Rae Wise.

The first of the housemates to be evicted was Angellica, who admitted that she was ‘surprised’ to be asked to compete on the programme.

She told AJ Odudu and Will Best: “To get a place on Celebrity Big Brother was amazing. The thing is though, with me, I’m very pragmatic and I was like ‘Big Brother, I’m leaving’. I knew it.

“There are some big names in there, big characters who have got huge platforms and who are talented. Who are great, everyone is wonderful.

“So I am happy to just be here. I did not even think I would last this long, so in my eyes I have won this show!”

Minutes later, Ella became the fifth housemate to be voted off by the public, telling Will and AJ that she was ready to go.

Firing a shot at Chris in her exit interview, Ella said: “I don’t think I was bothered. I think, more so, I can spot someone when I know what they’re doing and what they are going to gain from someone.”

The final housemate of the evening to be sent home was Bianca Jackson actress Patsy, who appeared to be relieved to be evicted.

During the episode, the crowd in attendance for the live eviction could be heard shouting ‘get Chris out’ to the shock of the ITV racing presenter.

Those watching the episode at home took to X, previously known as Twitter, to have their say on the vocal crowd and defend Chris.

@Juicyjessxo said: “It’s so annoying that Chris will think those people in the crowd represent the whole of the audience . He’s one of the only entertaining people in there.” @johanntimkang added: “The crowd shouting “Get Chris out!” but didn’t do it for Mickey… very unserious bunch #CBBUK.”

@RhysAddison wrote: “The crowd booing Chris…..don’t you disrespect the king like that #CBBUK.” @KimIfYaNasty posted: “That crowd does not represent the truth #CBBUK.”

@_infamous1_ commented: “Wtf is up with the crowd tonight?? What did Chris do to them??? #CBBUK.” @avonskinggg stated: “My issue with the crowd is that they’ll boo the celeb while they’re behind closed doors but the second they walk out they’ll be cheering.”

Chris has been struggling in recent days, with Ella telling him on Monday (April 21) that she thinks he’s a ‘game player’.
