Viewers are already picking their favourite housemates

Celebrity Big Brother fans have branded a star an ‘icon’and said they are ‘giving winner’ on the ITV reality show.

Returning for its second series on ITV on Monday (April 7), 13 celebrities left the glitz and the glamour for up to three weeks in the Big Brother house.

Among the celebrities competing to win is Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd, drag queen Danny Beard and Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke.

On Tuesday (April 8), viewers saw three of the contestants called to Big Brother’s Prize Room to choose gifts to give their housemates.

With Mickey gifting Love Island’s Chris Hughes a blender and Chris later giving Patsy a wellness session, it was JoJo who took an early risk.

After choosing the gifts, the housemates had to choose whether to give themselves immunity, give immunity to a fellow housemate or choose a killer nomination.

Despite Mickey and Chris both deciding to save a housemate, who they have 24 hours to decide, JoJo Siwa opted for the power to put someone automatically up for eviction.

The decision seemed to be weighing on JoJo, who said in the diary room that it was going to be a ‘stressful day’ for her as she weighs up who to put on the chopping block.

Those watching at home took to X, previously known as Twitter, to declare the 21-year-old singer an early favourite to win the series.

@swarlasscaffidi commented: “Why am I warming up to jojo I didn’t see this coming #CBBUK.” @BlueMonkey19 posted: “Good on JoJo for actually playing the game and taking the killer nomination – I knew I’d like her #CBBUK.”

In Dance Moms’ star JoJo’s video package, she said her fans have dubbed her the ‘CEO of gay pop’ as she gave an insight into her life.

“My name is JoJo Siwa, and I am a singer, performer, I’m an influencer, I’m a superstar, baby. My social media following is crazy, my followers tally up to around 80 million. I don’t think there’s any hiding me in the Big Brother house.

“When people first meet me, they’re like, who is this 21-year-old? Oh my god, she’s going to be so annoying. And then they get to know me, and they’re like, wait, this b*** is funny.

“Can I swear in the Big Brother house? Good, oh god, this could be great, or this could be horrible. See y’all in the house,” she teased.
