Viewers were confused as one housemate opened up about their friendship in the competition

Celebrity Big Brother fans ask “did I miss this” as Ella Rae Wise details a bond with fellow housemate Daley Thompson after he’s up for eviction.

During Thursday’s (17th April) instalment, the celebrities were asked to name two more celebrities each that they think should be evicted from the house next.

Once in the Big Brother diary room, each star gave their two names. It was then revealed that EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer and former Olympian Daley Thompson would be facing the public vote.

This is the second time that Patsy has been nominated, surviving the last vote alongside Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd as Trisha Goddard left the competition.

In tonight’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, viewers saw Daley and Patsy receive the most nominations from their fellow housemates. Daley received four nominations from Angellica, Chris, Donna and Patsy. Meanwhile, Patsy received five nominations from Angellica, Chris, Danny, Ella and JoJo.

After the nominations were revealed to the rest of the group, some of the housemates were shocked to hear Daley’s name get mentioned.

Patsy and Daley laughed it off and reiterated it’s “just a game” as the stars expressed their apologies and became upset over the result.

Former CBBC presenter Angellica Bell excused herself to go take a shower as she felt upset by the vote.

The Only Way Is Essex star Ella Rae Wise then burst into tears, stating she feels upset for them and not for herself. As she was comforted by JoJo Siwa, she opened up that she leans on Daley for support and they have a great bond in the house.

However, viewers were quick to social media to question “where” this bond between them has been during the episodes.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), @BarbaraYetaxa wrote: “Why are we just now hearing about Ella and Daley’s amazing bond when we’ve never even seen them talk”

@whoniversalnew1 added: “ella gets comfort from daley?? girl be fr” as @bosdovja92 penned: “Sorry, have I missed this ‘amazing bond’ between Ella and Daley?”

@love_trouble69 asked: “Has anyone seen Ella and Daley talk?” as @Iona_Ross97 added: “Ella crying while Patsy and Daley find it funny in the bedroom”.
