Fans were quick to show support to the Coronation Street actor after the nominations

Celebrity Big Brother fans rushed to “back” Jack P Shepherd after feeling that the other housemates have ganged up against him.

During Thursday’s (17th April) instalment, the housemates were once again asked to nominate two celebrities that they would like to see evicted on Friday night.

The last star to be evicted from the house was TV presenter Trisha Goddard who went up against Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd and EastEnders Patsy Palmer.

On Thursday, Big Brother invited each celebrity one at a time to the diary room to share who they didn’t think deserved to stay in the house.

In the diary room, Jack said, “My first nomination is Ella, because I ain’t seen her wash a pot while we’ve been in here. It’s p*****g me off, you know what I mean!

“Even Chris who does nothing, I’ve seen him wash up more times. And JoJo, they all lend a hand. I haven’t seen Ella get her hands in the sink yet.”

JoJo shared: “I need everybody to put your seatbelt on. With so much love for this man, I am gonna say Danny.

“With both being part of the LGBTQ family, I think now as we’ve found our feet in the house, I feel like we’ve kind of distanced.

“And so I’ve really tried to make an effort to talk about things with him and a lot of the time those efforts do get ignored. I mean I feel like I should feel that with Daley, you know what I mean, I don’t feel like I should feel that with Danny.”

However, fans expressed their concern for Jack P Shepherd as his fellow housemates mentioned his name on quite a few occasions.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), @jamiieebell wrote: “Danny is so jarring, what’s he got against jack??” as @hanreads_ added: “Might actually fight Donna for nominating Jack?”

Another viewer @Itt39354118 penned: “I think they’re nominating jack for nothing” and @MissAbbieFDS wrote: “I don’t get the Jack nominations?

“Are we getting heavily edited version of #cbbuk ? We all complained about this last time. Stop heavily editing things out, I’m mystified on what behaviour the housemates are moaning about”.
