Celebrity Big Brother is officially back for a second outing since ITV rebooted the hit reality series in 2023

The Big Brother reboot 18 months ago has proved to be such a success that after two normal editions, Celebrity Big Brother is officially back for a second outing.

Last year, fans of the reality show, which returned for the first time since 2018, saw the likes of Coronation Street star Colson Smith, former X Factor duo Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, broadcaster Fern Britton and Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin all enter the new compound for a number of weeks.

It was reality TV star David Potts who was eventually crowned the winner of the first CBB in six year and he was overwhelmed as hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced his name.

Now, Lancashire-born AJ, who previously hosted Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, and former 4Music presenter Will, are back with another celebrity version of the popular programme, beginning on Monday night (April 7) in ITV.

But while viewers will be excited to see much of the same gossip and drama seen in previous series, the upcoming Celebrity Big Brother will include one major change. For this year’s show the Big Brother house has moved to a brand new location and has a brand new look.

And who will be getting to enjoy the new surroundings, while being under Big Brother’s watch 24/7? Here’s the confirmed line-up in full:

Jack P Shephard

Jack is famed for having played David Platt in Coronation Street since 2000. He joined the ITV soap as a teen and the now-37-year-old recently marked 25 years on the famous cobbles.

The timing of Jack doing CBB comes after he was seen taking centre stage in a major Corrie storyline in which David plotted his own death after being targeted by gangster Harvey Gaskell over stolen cash.

Mickey Rourke

Mickey is being billed as one of the biggest signings in the show’s history. The Hollywood star is best known for appearing in a number of films like 9.5 Weeks, Sin City and The Wrestler.

The 72-year-old is also known for his history of public feuds with Robert De Niro, high-profile relationships and marriages, including to former actress Debra Feuer and model Carré Otis.

JoJo Siwa

JoJo is an American star who first shot to fame as a member of Abbey Lee Miller’s dance club on Dance Moms. The 21 year old, whose real name is Joelle Joanie Siwa, also became a worldwide sensation thanks to her hair bows.

Last year, JoJo caused a stir with her single Karma and also appeared on the American equivalent of Celebrity SAS – Special Forces. She also came out as being part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021 and has since confirmed that she identifies as a lesbian.

Patsy Palmer

Patsy is best known for playing Bianca Jackson in EastEnders, a role she’s played on-and-off since the mid-90s.

The 52-year-old soap star-turned DJ and TV personality, who relocated to LA, recently returned to the much-loved BBC One soap for its 40th anniversary.

Patsy has confirmed she is leaving the soap opera after several guest stints and a recent longer return, with her character, Bianca, set to depart Walford once again.

Donna Preston

Comedian and actress Donna is no stranger to the Big Brother compound, having been a regular guest on spin-off Late and Live.

The 38-year-old is best known for appearing on the game show Hey Tracey! alongside Joel Dommett, Preston has played the role of Den in Coronation Street and written and co-produced BBC Three’s Comedy Threesomes.

Daley Thompson

Daley is a double Olympic gold-medalist, achieving the huge feats in the Decathlon. He won the decathlon gold medal at the Olympic Games in 1980 and 1984, and broke the world record for the event four times. He was unbeaten in competition for nine years.

Now, 66-year-old Daley, who was appointed an MBE in the 1983 New Year Honours and promoted to the CBE in the 2000 New Year Honours, is well known for his outspoken views online.

Ella Rae Wise

Ella is following a number of The Only Way is Essex stars to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The 24-year-old has been part of the ITVBe reality show since 2019. Ella, who is now dating co-star Dan Egar, has also appeared on Celebrity Ex on the Beach and The Challenge UK.

Trisha Goddard

Trisha is famed for being a talk show host and broadcaster, with her Trisha Goddard show launching on ITV from 1998 and airing until 2004 before it moved to Channel 5, where it aired until 2010.

Now, the 67-year-old, who took part in Dancing On Ice in 2020, now appears on the likes of Good Morning Britain, American news network CNN and hosts her own talk radio show.

Chesney Hawkes

Chesney is more famous for his early 90s mega hit The One and Only and he is set to release a new album later this month.

The now 53-year-old started his career at the age of 19 when he appeared in the film Buddy’s Song, which featured his best-known single, which topped the UK Singles Chart for five weeks and reached the top 10 in the United States.

Angellica Bell

TV and radio presenter Angellica is best known for her presenting on CBBC between 2000 and 2006.

More recently Angellica, 49, has been seen co-hosting The One Show after being Martin Lewis’ co-host on his ITV Money Show. But hr sudden exit from the programme in 2023 left many viewers surprised

Michael Fabricant

Michael is a former Conservative politician. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lichfield in Staffordshire, formerly Mid Staffordshire, from 1992 until his defeat in 2024

Before politics, the 74-year-old founded and ran a company that designed, manufactured, and installed studio equipment. He commissioned radio and television stations across 48 countries worldwide.

Chris Hughes

Chris shot to fame on Love Island in 2017, with him making it all the way to the final alongside ex Olivia Attwood.

Since then, Chris, 32, has worked as a racing pundit for ITV and appeared on Channel 4 reality show Don’t Look Down, alongside the likes of GK Barry and Anton Ferdinand.

Danny Beard

Danny is best known for being a comedian, drag performer and TV personality – who is best known as the winner of Ru Paul’s Drag Race in 2022 but also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and Karaoke Club: Drag Edition.

The Liverpool-born 32-year-old is also actually a friend of the show, having appeared on the spin-off magazine show, Big Brother: Late and Live.
