Britain’s Got Talent’s Amanda Holden has told her fans that ‘dreams come true’ after a major Netflix announcement on Wednesday (April 16).

Amanda has been on the ITV talent show since its debut season back in 2007, with her and Simon Cowell the only original judges remaining.

Outside of Britain’s Got Talent, Amanda hosts the national Heart Breakfast show with Jamie Theakston and has presented on This Morning in the past.

Amanda’s latest TV venture has the potential to be her most viewed to date, with the 54-year-old joining forces with global streaming giant Netflix.

Along with Married At First Sight’s Paul C Brunson, Amanda will be fronting the new reality show Cheat: Unfinished Business.

The upcoming series will follow eight former couples as they come face to face for the first time since breaking up.

In a spicy twist, one person in each of the relationships cheated on their partner prior to their split.

Paul will be serving as the show’s relationship expert, using his relationship advice often seen on his E4 programme.

The couples will see if it’s possible to move forward from the ultimate relationship ender or if they broke up for a reason.

Fans don’t have long to wait to see Netflix’s latest reality show, with Cheat: Unfinished Business premiering next month.

One person who can’t wait for the show to air is Amanda, as she branded it the programme she’s ‘always wanted to host’.

She said: “Sometimes dreams really do come true. All my career I always wanted to host a show about love and relationships – and this is it.

“A series about second chances and unfinished business. I can’t wait to meet and help these couples work out whether they can forgive and forget. I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of it.”

Paul added: “When Netflix, Lifted and 12 Yard brought this idea to me, I was so excited by the opportunity to explore all the grey areas of infidelity for the contributors and the audience alike.

“Infidelity is complex and painful, but I don’t think it always has to end a relationship. If both partners are willing to put in the work to.”

It’s been a frantic period for Netflix in terms of their reality TV output, with the third season of Love on the Spectrum currently their most watched programme.

On top of this, February saw them bring back 2000s’ phenomenon Temptation Island, which gained lots of attention on social media.
