The teenager was injured in the knife attack in Warrington
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in a horror attack by a random suspect in Warrington on Monday afternoon (April 21).
Officers raced to the scene of the incident at around 1.20pm on Knutsford Road in the Latchford area. The victim had been knifed by the unknown man between 12.30pm and 1.20pm, near to a footpath along New Road.
The suspect was described as a white man with a goatee beard who was wearing a black adidas tracksuit with his hood up.

The victim was rushed to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-changing, Cheshire Police said. An investigation into the incident has now been launched.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward and report it to them as they continue to make enquires into the knife attack.
Detective Constable Will Austin, of Warrington CID, said: “I’d like to reassure the residents that this is believed to be an isolated incident and we are committed to doing all we can to establish exactly what took place.
“We’ve already spoken to a number of witnesses as part of our investigation, and I would like to thank the local community for the support provided.
“As part of ongoing enquiries, we’re keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.
“I’d urge anyone with any information, no matter how small, to contact the team here at Warrington.”
