He elaborated: “It’s little films on how to do things like sowing seeds. We’ve done one on planting summer flowering bulbs in pots, it’s on about 70,000 hits! It’s simple gardening for people who are scared about it.”

His updates were met with enthusiasm by Dermot and Sian, who praised the initiative as a “great idea” to have Titchmarsh dispensing tips on platforms like YouTube, reports Wales Online.

Sian gave him the playful moniker of a “cool grandpa”. At the same time, Alan revealed his anticipation over his grandchildren’s reaction to discovering their grandad’s online presence, admitting he hadn’t told them about his YouTube channel yet.
