You can save money and treat the family for less this Easter

The school holidays isn’t typically a period that lends itself well to cost-cutting, with short getaways and activities to keep your kids entertained pricier than ever before.

However, with some forward planning and the right knowledge, you can treat your little loved ones to meals that make their tummies happy for next to nothing at all.

Here’s our round-up of all the best offers at cafes, pubs and restaurants during the Easter holidays – wherever you are in the UK.

1. The Real Greek – Children under 12 can enjoy a free meal from the Kids’ Menu, a drink and ice cream or sorbet on any Sunday with every £15 spent by an adult.

2. Dobbies – Kids can enjoy a free breakfast, hot meal or a pick ‘n’ mix lunch box, along with a free child’s drink every day in their restaurant or a Sunday roast for £2 with any adult equivalent meal.

3. Angus Steakhouse – Children aged 8 and under can enjoy a free dish from the Kids Menu when they are accompanied by a full-paying adult every day from 12 to 5pm.

4. Premier Inn – You don’t have to be a guest in order to enjoy Premier Inn’s all-you-can-eat breakfast from £10.99. And two under 16s can eat free for every paying adult.

5. Travelodge – Unlimited breakfast starts from only £9.99 and up to two kids aged under 15 can eat for £1 with every full paying adult.

6. Bella Italia – At Bella Italia, children aged 2-11 can eat for free all day on Thursdays, or for just £1 until 6pm from Sunday to Wednesday.

7. TGI Fridays – Children up to 12 years old can enjoy a free kids’ main meal with the purchase of a full-price adult main meal, available every day, whether it’s Easter or not. You’ll need to sign up to its rewards club but the offer is available for both new and existing Stripes Rewards Members.

8. Morrisons – Kids under 16 can enjoy a meal including fruit and a drink when you purchase any adult meal costing £4.50 or more. Kids get one free meal, including fruit and a drink.

9. Sizzling Pubs – Kids can eat for just £1 Monday to Friday from 3pm when you buy an adult main meal. During school holidays, the Kids Eat for £1 offer is available from 12pm.

10. Las Iguanas – Download the My Iguanas app and children up to 12 years old can receive free meals for mini Iguanas every visit. When one adult orders a main course from the à la carte menu, you can claim one free kids which includes a choice of main, two sides and a dessert.

11. Asda – Kids under 16 eat for £1 all year round at over 205 Asda Cafés, extending beyond just school holidays. The hot £1 meal deal comes with a piece of fruit or they can choose a cold meal comprising a sandwich, drink, and a piece of fruit.

12. Prezzo – Prezzo is offering an Easter deal where children up to 12 years old can enjoy a free three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) with the purchase of any adult main course. The Kids Eat Free offer is available from 31st March to 27th April 2025.

13. Burger King – From 7th to 20th April 2025, Burger King is offering a free King Jr.® Meal with the purchase of an adult burger meal via the Burger King app at selected restaurants.

14. Zizzi! – From 6th April to 27th April 2025, enjoy a free Bambini meal with every adult main course purchased excluding Saturdays. Whether your little ones are passionate about penne or pumped about pizza, this offer is perfect for a fun family meal.

15. Café Rouge – Every day from 12 to 4pm, children up to 12 years old can enjoy two or three courses from the kids menu for free when you purchase any adult main course.

16. Frankie & Benny’s – From 31st March to 27th April 2025, including Easter weekend, kids eat free at Frankie & Benny’s. Your mini diners can enjoy a main, side, drink, and dessert when you purchase any adult main meal.

17. Pizza Express – From Monday 7th April to Thursday 24th April 2025, children can enjoy a free Piccolo meal when dining in at any Pizza Express restaurant. This kids eat free offer is available all day, every day, with the purchase of an adult main meal.

18. Bills – Up to two kids can eat free all day from Monday 7th April – Friday 25th April (excluding Saturday and Sunday) when one adult orders any main dish whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner.

19 Beefeater – During school holidays, you can get two free kids’ breakfasts at Beefeater with the purchase of an adult breakfast. This offer is available for children under 16 and features an unlimited buffet-style breakfast.

20 Brewdog – This Easter, Brewdog is running a kids eat free deal when you buy an adult main. Choose from DIY pizzas, cheese toasties and more. You’ll need to prebook to get the deal. It runs until Monday April 21 throughout England, Scotland and Wales, with restricted dates at its restaurant in Waterloo.

21 Dunelm – Head to the Pausa café located in Dunelm stores and enjoy a free kids’ meal with a £4 purchase. This deal is available every day, all day. Children receive a free hot meal, along with two snacks and a drink.

22 Franco Manca – Children under 12 can enjoy a free kids’ pizza when buying a full-priced adult main at certain Franco Manca locations from Monday to Thursday.

23 Hungry Horse – Kids eat for £1 on Mondays at Hungry Horse restaurants with every full paying adult. Dishes include pork sausages, Quorn sausages, tomato pasta, burgers and nuggets. For £1.50, you can opt for a larger dish such as Katsu chicken burger or kids can build their own tacos.

24 Ikea – At Ikea restaurants, children can enjoy meals starting at just 95p. Options include pasta with tomato sauce or mac and cheese, accompanied by a soft drink and a piece of fruit.

25 Sainsbury’s – Kids eat for £1 in Sainsbury’s cafés when you purchase a hot adult’s meal from £5.20. The offer is available year round from 11.30am.
