Netflix has announced its line-up of presentations and screenings at this year’s Annecy animation festival, taking place June 8-14 in France.
Key highlights include the world premiere of Genndy Tartakovsky’s adult animated feature Fixed, which was just acquired by the streamer, as well as a masterclass with BoJack Horseman creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg, who is prepping a new adult comedy series, Long Story Short, debuting later this year on the streamer.

Here is the streamer’s complete Annecy event line-up:
- On Wednesday, June 11, at its Next on Netflix Animation presentation in Annecy’s main Bonlieu Theater, the stream will feature exclusive previews of two of its hotly-anticipated projects: Alex Woo’s feature film In Your Dreams, premiering this fall, and Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, from showrunner Eric Robles (Fanboy & Chum Chum, Glitch Techs).
- Also on June 11 is the world premiere of Sony Pictures Animation’s Fixed, which is now dated to debut on the streamer August 13, 2025.
- Raphael Bob-Waksberg’s masterclass is on Thursday, June 12. He’ll be joined by other members of the Long Story Short team and an episode from the show will be screened.
- There will be a work-in-progress and making-of sessions for two upcoming series: Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, based on Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy game franchise, and Folivari’s French preschool series 7 Bears.
- For the first time, Netflix will host a dedicated Animated Series Studio Focus on Thursday, June 12, with an in-depth look at its full animation slate, from preschool (Dr. Seuss’s Horton!) to adult (Blue Eye Samurai season 2, Magic: The Gathering), family (Ghostbusters, Minecraft), and comedy (Haunted Hotel). The session will be led by various Netflix Animation executives including John Derderian (vice president, animation series), Heather Tilert (director, kids & preschool), Billy Wee (director, adult comedy), Dylan Thomas (director, adult spectacle), and Dominique Bazay (director, family spectacle).
