London Spirits Competition: India's Jin Jiji Honoured As World's Best Gin

Jin Jiji is crafted using Himalayan juniper, tulsi (holy basil), chamomile, and a curated selection of Indian botanicals. It has consistently impressed connoisseurs with its layered complexity, balance, and flavour profile deeply rooted in India’s biodiversity and cultural nuance.

The gin reflects the very spirit of our country by using botanicals inspired by masala chai, India’s most popular brew.

The spirit is crafted by a global spirits company called Peak Spirits. Ansh Khanna, the company’s founder, mentioned that India has always had the ingredients for world-class spirits but needed the belief and craft to make it to the top.

“To be recognised as the world’s top-rated gin and the Spirit of the Year is not just a win for us but also for Indian craftsmanship on a global stage,” Khanna added.
