Joe Joyce faces Filip Hrgovic in a huge heavyweight clash tonight at the Co-Op Live arena in Manchester

Joe Joyce is set to go head-to-head with Filip Hrgovic in a high-stakes heavyweight showdown.

At 39, Joyce is nearing the end of his boxing career.

After suffering defeats at the hands of Derek Chisora and Zhilei Zhang, a loss to Hrgovic could spell the end of his world title aspirations.

Hrgovic, hailing from Croatia, stepped up to replace Dillian Whyte, who was initially slated to fight Joyce.

On March 4, it was announced that Whyte had suffered a severe finger injury, forcing him to withdraw.

Hrgovic’s most recent bout was against British sensation Daniel Dubois, who knocked him out in June 2024.

That night saw Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions triumph in all five fights against Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing in an event dubbed as 5v5.
